Adding a Modbus RTU server

You can add up to 32 servers per client.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. You must add a Modbus RTU client to your device configuration.
  1. In the device tree, right-click on the client.
  2. In the context menu, select Add device.
  1. A new server is added below the client. The lowest unused server ID in the range of 1 to 247 is assigned to that server. All servers are sorted by their server ID. The newly added server remains selected.
