Changing the network settings

Do not change the network settings while editing the real-time application because you can lose unsaved changes.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. You must save your changes and close all windows and tabs associated with editing the real-time application before you change the network settings.
  1. On the Starting page, click Settings.
  2. Click Network settings.
  3. Choose the tab of the Ethernet network whose settings you want to change.
  4. Choose between static and dynamic (DHCP) mode for the IP configuration.
  5. If you choose static IP configuration, change the following data:
  6. IP address
  7. Subnet mask
  8. Default gateway (optional)
  9. DNS servers (optional)
  10. Click Apply.
