Deploying changes to the real-time application
Changes to the real-time application can be deployed back to the controller. Deploying changes automatically discards any existing draft. Deploying changes includes checking the validity of the changes.
- Start editing the real-time application.
- In the menu bar, click Deploy.
- The Deploy application dialogue is displayed.
- Click Deploy, to start the upload.
- Once the upload is finished, a dialogue is displayed.
If errors are displayed, edit your real-time application and check the changes again.
- Select whether you want to start the real-time application immediately or just close the dialogue.
Choose from:
- Start: The real-time application starts immediately. The controller status changes to RUN. The real-time application opens in a new browser tab.
- Close: The dialogue is closed. The controller status changes to STOP.
If the operating state is EMPTY although you deployed a real-time application, check whether the physical setup of the u-control station matches the configured setup.
