Releasing a limit switch
Activating a limit switch connected to the stepper motor module stops the movement. In order to continue moving, the limit switch must be released.
- Prerequisite
- Signalers for tip mode must be connected correctly to the module.
- The module must be parameterised for tip mode.
- Set out_pos_change to TRUE.
- Set out_enable to FALSE.
- Activate the signaler for tip mode in the corresponding direction until the drive system is moved from the limit switch.
- The release operation is interrupted if the signaler for tip mode is deactivated. If you deactivate the signaler while the limit switch is still activated, you must repeat the process.
Activating a limit switch connected to the stepper motor module loses the reference position.
