Searching for a variable in the Global variables list

In the Global variables list of the OPC UA Server application, you can sort the variables by name (alphabetically ascending/descending) or by state (published/unpublished). You can also filter the variables or search for a certain variable.

  1. If you want to filter the variables by state (published/unpublished), click ☰ in the Published column.
  2. A dialogue box is opened.
  3. In the Filter... text box, enter true for published variables or false for unpublished variables.
  4. Only published or unpublished variables are displayed in the list. The filter icon in the Published column indicates that the list is filtered.
  5. If you want to search for a certain variable, click ☰ in the Name column.
  6. A dialogue box is opened.
  7. In the drop-down list, select Equals.
  8. In the Filter... text box, enter the name of the variable you want to search for.
  9. Only the searched variable is displayed in the list. The filter icon in the Name column indicates that the list is filtered.
