Updating the firmware

Do not attempt to update the firmware when you are connected via u-link Remote Access Service. The u-link Remote Access Service connection is terminated once the device enters update mode. You will not be able to connect to the device again until the device is restarted locally.

  1. Save your changes.
  2. Download the latest firmware file from the Weidmüller website.
  1. On the Starting page, click Settings.
  2. Click Firmware update.
  4. Click Browse.
  5. Choose the firmware file from your file system.
  6. Click Open.
  7. Click Start.
  8. The upload is started.
  9. u-create web is disconnected.
  10. The connection between the device and u-remote I/O modules is interrupted.
  11. Node-RED flows are stopped.
  12. SWupdate is displayed.
  13. The device restarts.
  1. u-create web is restarted.

Examine the software version in the About dialog to see whether the firmware update was successful.
