Creating a global colour scheme

You can create a global colour scheme for your visualisation. A global colour scheme allows you to control the colours of widgets or the background globally.

  1. Start editing the real-time application.
  2. In the menu bar, click Visualisation.
  3. Click on the drawing area to open the drawing area properties.
  4. In the Properties, assign colours to Primary colour, Secondary colour and Text.
  5. Use the colour scheme for all widgets, whose colours you want to control globally.
  6. Click on a widget whose colours you want to edit.
  7. In the Properties, change the widget's colours to Primary colour, Secondary colour or Text.
  8. You can now change the colours globally.
  9. Click on the drawing area to open the drawing area properties.
  10. In the Properties, assign new colours to Primary colour, Secondary colour and Text.
  1. The colours of all widgets that use the colour scheme are changed immediately.
