Adding a user of the OPC UA Server
If you do not allow anonymous access, only users can use the services provided by the OPC UA Server.
- The OPC UA Server is started. The toggle switch is orange and in right position.
NOTICE


Changes in the user configuration require a restart of the OPC UA Server. Make sure that a restart does not interfere with operations that rely on this OPC UA Server.
- Open the OPC UA Server configuration.
- Click User management.
- Click +.
- In the text box Username, enter a unique name for this user.
- In the text box Password, enter the password for this user. The password must be at least 8 characters long.
NOTICE


To show or hide the password, click the check box Show password.
- Click Apply.
- Click OK to restart the server.
