Saving a POU to the file system

  1. This function allows you to save a custom Program Organisation Unit to your file system.You cannot save a Program Organisation Unit which contains global variables or other custom Program Organisation Unit.
  1. Start editing the real-time application.
  2. In the menu bar, click Program.
  3. In the POU tree, mark the Program Organisation Unit you want to save.
  4. Click ⋮ next to the selected Program Organisation Unit.
  5. In the context menu, click Save to file.
  6. Enter a filename.
  7. Click Save to file.
  1. The file will be stored in the default download folder of you browser.
