Changing the OPC UA user password

If you do not allow anonymous access, OPC UA Clients can access the OPC UA Server only with user authentication.

The default login data are:

In order to prevent unauthorised access you should change the password immediately. Observe the individual data security regulations of your company.

The user password must contain at least 6 characters.

  1. In the Authentication settings, click the Change password button.
  2. The Change password dialogue is displayed.
  3. In the text box New password, enter the desired password.
  4. In the text box Confirm password, enter the password again.
  5. Click Change password.
