Connecting the device to a hawkBit server

The device can be used as a hawkBit client. Software updates can be rolled out via a hawkBit server.

  1. On the Starting page, click Settings.
  2. Click hawkBit settings.
  3. Enable the Enable hawkBit client check box.
  4. In the text box URL, enter the URL and the port for the hawkBit server [example.com:8080].
  5. In the text box Polling interval, enter the polling interval.

    The polling interval indicates the frequency in which the server is requested for updates. The minimum allowed value is 60 seconds.

  7. If you want to use a target security token for authentication, enable the Use target security token check box and enter the target security token in the Target security token text box.
  8. Click Apply.
  9. Click Proceed to confirm.
