Changing the OPC UA user password

If you do not allow anonymous access, OPC UA Clients can access the OPC UA Server only by user authentication. You can change the user password. The user password must have at least 6 characters.

  1. In the Authentication settings, click the Change password button.
  2. The Change password dialogue is displayed.
  3. In the New password text box, enter the desired password.
  4. In the Confirm password text box, enter the password again.
  5. Click Change password.
