Changing permissions of a role

The permissions of the role Administrator cannot be changed. The administration of Node-RED and the identity and accesss management is only allowed to the Administrator role.

  1. Prerequisite
  2. You are logged in as administrator.
  3. You have created a user.
  4. At least one role is created.
  1. On the starting page, click Settings.
  2. Click Users.
  3. The identity and access managment is opened.
  4. In the menu bar, click Roles.
  5. Click the role to which you want to assign permissions.
  6. The role dialogue is opened.
  7. Tick the permissions you want to assign to the role.
  8. Click Update role.
