Updating the firmware
The release notes are available to download from the weidmüller website.
Further information is available to download from the support center.
For firmware downgrades, we recommend connecting your computer with the controller via USB. Depending on the used downgrade file IP changes and protocol changes will occur.

- Please regard the information in the release notes.
- Please regard the information in the support center.
- Save your changes.
- Save all changes of your configurations and applications e.g. Node-RED, Modbus TCP.
- Download the latest firmware file from the Weidmüller website.
- On the Starting page, click Settings.
- Click Firmware update.
- SWUpdate is opened in a new browser tab.
- Drag-and-drop the software update file into the dialogue box.
- The upload is started.
- When the upload is finished, the system is automatically restarted.
What to do next
Examine the software version in the About dialogue to see whether the firmware update was successful.
