Enabling u-link Remote Access Service
Enable u-link to access the device via u-link Remote Access Service.
- Prerequisite
- The device is registered with u-link.
- Click Enable u-link.
- WWH (Heartbeat): When connected, the device has a proper connection to the u-link service. The WWH connection is a prerequisite for the VPN connection to this device in the u-link portal.
- VPN Connection: When connected, the device has a secure VPN connection to the u-link service.
- If your device is part of a local network and you want to access other devices in the local network, click Allow access to local network.
- In the VPN connection clearance drop-down list, select a condition for the Remote Access Service. Choose from:
- Always allowed: Remote Access Service is always allowed.
- DI1: Remote Access Service is only allowed, if DI1 is set to high.
- DI2: Remote Access Service is only allowed, if DI2 is set to high.
